Toni Anne Thomas has worked in the Canadian film and television industry for over 15 years. She graduated from the Film Production Program at Ryerson University and obtained a diploma in Television Operation and Production through Humber College.
Since then, she has managed, coordinated and assisted an array of productions from MOW’s(‘Bo jangles’, ‘10,000 Black Men Named George’) to Variety Television (‘The Toronto Show’,‘T.O Variety’,‘MTV Live’) to documentaries (‘A Linc in Time’) and Animated comedy series (‘By the Rapids’).
Thomas has also produced music videos for Much Music and Much Vibe. Currently, Thomas is Owner of Toni Anne Thomas Productions (TATP) – an online video production company specializing in Web TV and online videos geo targeted for selling products and services to the Greater Toronto Area.
“I help artists to create, causes to be heard and communities to be informed.” Be it producing authentic, digital, cultural content (videos, films, websites), creating marketing strategies, or fundraising events for charities, @MissTowa connects influencers with brands. An avid cyclist, beach traveller and digital media geek, she currently coaches creative entrepreneurs as they explore their ideas and launch their projects. A 2015 CIVIC Action Diverse City Fellow, @MissTowa is a social entrepreneur with a passion for the Arts.
